No trees were cut down to build Latitude 10 and we will be happy to show you our sustainable initiatives that guide our operations.
Latitude 10 was also created for guests who like to learn more about the local culture. We are minutes by bicycle (which we provide) to Santa Teresa, one of the hippest surf towns in Costa Rica with great local dining and eclectic shopping. While the heart of our resort, the Clubhouse, gathers our guests in a warm open air "great room" for breakfast, afternoon cocktails and general socializing with the team and other guests, exploring Santa Teresa for dinner or even bringing in a chef ensures you experience a true "taste" of Costa Rica and our wonderful fresh, local ingredients.
Wellness is also a priority - whether that means unwinding with a day at the beach with a good book, daily massages and yoga sessions to educational tours that open up the world of the vibrant biodiversity and richness of the rainforest that surrounds the region.

Your Casita
Tucked amongst the native vegetation, lie Latitude 10’s five casitas. Each private bungalow is uniquely and luxuriously appointed, with its own personality and vibe.
The private casitas are constructed from almond wood and decorated with local art and handiwork. You might find an easel with a painting propped in the corner, or a coconut broken in half and filled with sand and tea lights, or a ladder made with bamboo set against the bathroom wall. Each room has its own treasures for you to discover and enjoy.

Porches with cozy chairs and hammocks, ceiling fans, safe deposit boxes, and a twice-daily housekeeping service add to your comfort. In the evening, we will pull down the shades, light candles and dim the lights. Our turndown service paired with the sounds of nature provides a very tranquil and very Costa Rican experience.

Master Suite
Our two Master Suites are spacious and comfortable, accommodating from one to three people. The sleeping quarters are integrated with a lounge area and table setting for four. Both have ocean view and large front porches where you may relax and watch beautiful Santa Teresa sunsets.
Premium Junior Suite
Charming and secluded, our Premium Junior Suite is surrounded by tropical gardens and offers the same commodities as the Junior Suites but with King sized bed.
Junior Suite
We offer two Junior Suites, each with a unique décor that gives it a special personality. Whether tropical, arabesque, classical or eclectic, each suite offers genuine comfort in the remoteness of this paradise. Both of our Junior Suites are equipped with queen sized beds.
Guestroom
This room is attached to the main building but does have the same quality of fittings as the other rooms. This room is smaller in size and the main difference is that it does not have a porch or deck around it. This is, however, our only room with a/c.

Clubhouse & Lounge
The clubhouse lies at the heart of the property surrounded by native tropical vegetation and stunning ocean views. The open-air ranchito is the center of activity, home to the pristine chemical free infinity pool and over 100 meters of private white sand beach. In addition to a spacious and comfortable restaurant and lounging area, you will find the reception office, exquisite bar, state of the art kitchen available for guest or personal chef use in case you book the entire resort, and staff members happy to help make every detail of your stay perfect.
Our intricate network of stone walkways carves paths from the clubhouse through the still wild ecosystem leading you to your private and secluded bungalow. Come and go as you like but please, make yourself at home.
Culinary Experience
We invite you to pull up a chair at the bar and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast while listening to the waves rolling in. After a great day, why not watch the sunset from the pool with a cold drink in your hand? Or perhaps you would like to play a game of chess and then curl up on the couch with a book. Good conversation and community awaits you at the clubhouse. While we don't offer traditional a la carte restaurant service at Latitude 10, we do offer a distinguished culinary experience that will please the most discerning palate.
The complementary breakfast selection includes fresh fruit, local favorites like Gallo Pinto and eggs as well as our popular breakfast burrito, a variety of Omelets with fresh ingredients and French Toast. Served with freshly brewed organic Costa Rican coffee or fresh tropical fruit juices of your choice.
Lunch at the Clubhouse consists of freshly tossed salads, sandwiches and quesadillas. The Smoked Fish Sandwich is our guests’
favorite and goes well with a glass of organic Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay from our wine menu. We are happy to serve you lunch at the pool or the privacy of your bungalow.
Dinner is the highlight of the Latitude 10 Culinary Experience. Dinner at the clubhouse should be “pre-ordered” by noon to ensure the freshest of ingredients and “a la minute” presentation of two different selections of dishes each night. Sebastien, a “local” French chef and long term friend of Latitude 10 who has been living in the area for over 10 years, is here to create magical flavors for you and always happy to accommodate special requests. Our open kitchen allows you to watch as he, or his assistant, combines the fresh natural ingredients and exotic condiments, resulting in an edible work of art!
